About Paige
Hi, I’m Paige Morrill, a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker and the founder of Nurturing Self-Compassion. I love helping clients break down the barriers that are holding them back from finding happiness—often by setting boundaries with family, improving self-esteem, and recognizing their self-worth.
I’ve worked extensively with teens and adults across a variety of settings, supporting them in making meaningful, lasting improvements in their everyday lives. My goal is to create a safe space where you can discover solutions that truly work for you and learn how to put them into practice with guidance and support.
I offer a blend of proven therapeutic approaches tailored to your needs. Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) helps you understand and reshape unhelpful thought patterns. Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) provides practical skills for managing emotions, improving relationships, and handling life’s challenges. Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) encourages mindfulness and helps you live in alignment with your values while accepting difficult emotions. Together, these therapies provide a flexible and compassionate framework to support your growth and healing.
When I’m not working, I enjoy all kinds of crafting and spending time with my giant rabbit, Polly.
My Mission
My mission is to help you learn more about yourself and grow in ways that support your mental health for the long term. Many challenges come from being unkind to ourselves or holding unfair standards that keep us from truly enjoying life. As my practice name suggests, I’m here to help you nurture self-compassion as you navigate the issues you want to work on.
